5A Molecular Sieve is a type A zeolite with a tetrahedral framework structure, and 13X is an octahedral framework structure of type X zeolite. Their structures are different, and the internal pore sizes formed after ion exchange are different. The internal pore size structure of 5a molecular sieve is 5 angstroms, while the pore size of 13x molecular sieve is 10 angstroms. The range of molecules that can be adsorbed is wider than that of 5a zeolite, and the adsorption capacity is also larger.
If you need high-purity oxygen, oxygen concentrator are generally filled with 13X HP molecular sieves or lithium molecular sieves. Small oxygen generators with a capacity of 1-10L will use 0.4-0.8 molecular sieves, and large oxygen generators with a flow rate of 100-10000Nm³/hour use 1.3-1.7mm oxygen molecular sieves.
