Molecular sieve 13X is an alkali metal aluminosilicate with a pore size of 10 angstroms. It is a sodium type of X-type crystal structure with selective adsorption and can adsorb any molecule with a diameter less than 10 angstroms.
Xintao 13X molecular sieve has two shapes, one is sphere with a diameter of 1.6-2.5mm and 3.0-5.0mm, and the other is pellet with a diameter of 1.6mm and 3.2mm. It has strong adsorption effect and thermal stability, can adsorb polar molecules such as H2O, CO2, H2S without changing its own chemical and physical properties, and its adsorption capacity for water still has good adsorption performance under harsh conditions such as low partial pressure, low concentration, and high temperature.

Such as high temperature activation, heating at 300-550℃ for 3-5 hours to remove moisture and impurities to achieve the best adsorption state; Vacuum activation, place the 13X molecular sieve in a vacuum drying oven and heat it at about 300℃ for 4-6 hours to more thoroughly remove internal impurities and moisture.
First, choose a suitable container, slowly pour the activated 13X molecular sieve into the container, and gently vibrate the container while pouring to make it fill evenly. After filling, install the inlet and outlet pipes and valves and other accessories to ensure tight connections and no leakage.
Heating and purge regeneration, high temperature roasting regeneration, vacuum regeneration, oxidation regeneration and flushing regeneration can be used.
Sealed storage, unused 13X molecular sieves should be sealed and stored in a dry, well-ventilated place to avoid moisture and long-term contact with air.

Xintao molecular sieve zeolite 13X have a strong adsorption capacity, such as it can absorb more than 26% of its own weight of water in a saturated salt water test at 35±1℃ for 24 hours. And in a relatively closed static system with constant temperature and pressure, its static carbon dioxide adsorption value is more than 18.5%.
The pore sizes are different, the pore size of 4A zeolite bead is 0.4 nanometers, and 13X zeolite desiccant is larger, which is 1 nanometer. Different pore sizes have different adsorption capacities. Under the same conditions, molecular sieve 4A beads can adsorb low molecular weight compounds such as water, methanol, ethanol, hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, carbon dioxide, ethylene, propylene, etc., but does not adsorb molecules with a diameter greater than 4A; and 13X molecular sieve can adsorb most of the above substances, as well as larger molecular hydrocarbons.
