13X HP molecular sieve is an alkali metal aluminosilicate with a pore size of 10 angstroms. It is a new type of X-type molecular sieve for oxygen production, has uniform pore size and extremely high specific surface area, excellent nitrogen and oxygen separation coefficient.
The air is pumped into the molecular sieve 13X HP through the compressor pressure swing adsorption. The molecular sieve adsorbs waste gases such as nitrogen and carbon dioxide in the air, leaving only oxygen that enters the gas collection bottle. First, the chemical composition is different. Molecular sieve 5A is calcium-type aluminosilicate, while molecular sieve 13X HP is sodium-type aluminosilicate. Secondly, the pore size is different. The pore size of 5A zeolite is about 0.5nm; the pore size of 13X HP zeolite is about 1nm. In addition, the adsorption capacity is also different. Under the same conditions, the adsorption capacity of 13X HP molecular sieve for water, carbon dioxide, etc. is usually greater than that of 5A molecular sieve desiccant. For example, in the saturated salt water test at 35+1℃, the 5A zeolite adsorbent can absorb more than 22% of its own weight of water for 24 hours, while the zeolite 13X HP can absorb more than 30% of its own weight of water.
