3A Molecular Sieve is an alkali metal aluminosilicate, also known as type 3A zeolite. It is formed by exchanging the sodium ions in 4A molecular sieve with potassium ions and is a potassium-based molecular sieve with an A-type crystal structure. Its internal pore size is about 3 angstroms (0.3nm), which can effectively and preferentially adsorb polar water molecules, allowing them to enter the pores and be adsorbed and separated, while blocking large molecular polymers, unsaturated hydrocarbons, etc. outside the pores, thereby playing a role in dehydration in gases and liquids.

Xintao molecular sieve 3a generally refers to conventional industrial adsorbent desiccant, while the molecular sieve used in insulating glass is Xintao's model insulating glass molecular sieve, which can simultaneously absorb moisture and residual organic matter in insulating glass, effectively preventing condensation and frost in the glass interlayer. It completely solves the problem of distortion and breakage of insulating glass caused by expansion or contraction of ordinary insulating glass molecular sieves, thereby fully extending the service life of insulating glass.
The difference is the difference in internal pore size formed after ion exchange. The 3a molecular sieve is formed by exchanging the sodium ions of the 4a molecular sieve for potassium ions. After the production process, the internal pore size structure of the 3a molecular sieve becomes 3 angstroms, while the pore size of the 4a molecular sieve is 4 angstroms. The range of molecules that can be adsorbed is wider than that of the 3a zeolite, and the adsorption capacity is also larger.
If you have ordered a small amount of molecular sieves that have been deactivated and have drying equipment such as a muffle furnace, you can set a high temperature of about 180-250℃ to dry it for about 4-6 hours.
Molecular sieves that have adsorbed acidic gases such as carbon dioxide need to be regenerated at 280-350℃ for about 4-6 hours.
