5A Molecular Sieve, is an alkaline aluminosilicate. It is a calcium-based synthetic zeolite with an A-type crystal structure. In the production process ion exchange, calcium ions replace sodium ions, making the effective pore size become 5 angstroms (0.5 nanometers). Compared with the 3A/4A molecular sieve desiccant, it can adsorb more acidic gases in the adsorption system.
The strong ionic force of divalent calcium cations makes 5A an excellent choice for removing moisture, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, alcohols and other oxygen-containing compounds, hydrogen sulfide, methyl mercaptan and ethyl mercaptan, and other polar molecules.

The internal pore size structure of 5a molecular sieve is 5 angstroms, while the pore size of 13x molecular sieve is 10 angstroms. If you have ordered a small amount of molecular sieves that have been deactivated and have drying equipment such as a muffle furnace, you can set a high temperature of about 180-250℃ to dry it for about 4-6 hours.
